Meeting on Coordination of Rural and Urban Development and Lawyers’Strategic Space was Held in Dacheng

On the evening of July 25, 2009, meeting on coordination of rural and urban development and lawyers’ strategic space, sponsored by Chengdu Municipal Justic Bureau and Chengdu Lawyers Association, undertaken by Dacheng Law offices, was held in Dacheng Beijing office. Deputy secretary-general Li Haiwei of All China Lawyers Association, vice minister Xie Yang of research center for rural economy of SCDRC, standing deputy director Huang Xiaohu, professor Wang Yong from China University of Political Science and Law, editor Wang Bixue of legal weekly of People’s Daily, deputy director Yang Zehui and deputy director Luoweimin and director Liu Shenming of lawyers management division from Chengdu Municipal Justic Bureau, director Qu Song of policy and regulation division of Chengdu coordination committee, vice president Li Shiliang of Sichuan Lawyers Association and senior partner Xu Yongqian and Wang Dengshan from Dacheng attended the meeting. The meeting was presided by attorney Xu Yongqian. Through the communication focused on the achievements of coordination of rural and urban development and judicial circumstances, the leaders and experts exchenged ideas concerning how to promote the coordination of rual and urban development and how do lawyers expand strategic space in the process of coordination of rural and urban development.
