Dacheng Shanghai Branch Successfully Co-organized 2009 All-China Lawyers Association P Professional Commission Annual Meeting and High-Level IP Forum of Chinese Lawyers

From 23-25 October 2009, the “2009 All-China Lawyers Association IP Professional Commission Annual Meeting and High-Level IP Forum of Chinese Lawyers” opened at the International Conference Center Hotel at Nanjing, Jiangsu. The meeting was hosted by the IP Professional Commission of the All-China Lawyers Association, and was organized by the Jiangsu Lawyers Association. The Shanghai Branch of Dacheng Law Offices presided over the meeting as its major co-organizer.
Tao Xinliang, a lawyer of the Dacheng Shanghai Branch, arranged the meeting as rotating chairman of the IP Professional Commission in conjunction with the Jiangsu Lawyers Association.  The Shanghai Branch also organized its lawyers to form meeting groups responsible for the organization, coordination, communication, and reception of the meeting.
Many lawyers from the Dacheng head office and from the Nanjing, Shenyang, Chengdu, Zhengzhou and Dacheng (Taiwan) branches attended the meeting. The book co-authored by Peng Wenshen and Liu Yixing titled “Intellectual Property Strategy and Guide to Implementation” won the Top Ten Intellectual Property Works award with the most votes. During the Patent Forum of the meeting, Peng Wensheng from the Dacheng Shanghai Branch and Dacheng (Taiwan) Chairman Wei Yilong also delivered speeches titled, respectively, “New Points of Growth for Intellectual Property – Introduction to the Operation of Entrepreneurial IP Strategy” and “Cross-straits Promotion of Intellectual Property Securitization”. During the meeting, Dacheng head office lawyer Liu Shijie, Shanghai Branch lawyer Peng Wensheng, and Tian Xiaowu from the Zhengzhou branch were also elected as committee members of the All China Lawyers Association’s IP Professional Commission.
