Senior Partners Xu Yongqian, Lv Bo and Two Others Visit Shandong Iron & Steel Group

On Mar2 2009, Dacheng senior partner Xu Yongqian, Lv Bo and partner Luo Zhisheng, Yang Guohua visited Shandong Iron & Steel Group co., Ltd., and held an in-depth discussion on strengthening alliances with Shandong Iron & Steel Group Board chairman Zou Zhongchen and others.
 
Xu described Dacheng’s traditional professional advantages, its new business developments areas, China’s platform of domestic resources and building a global network of legal services. He also offered, on behalf of Dacheng, to assist Shandong Iron & Steel Group in accelerating their corporate restructuring within the province and in actively promoting integration of overseas resources. Senior Partner Lv highlighted his experiences on M&A practices and Partner Yang did a presentation on resource integration and risk prevention for overseas acquisitions.
 
Later, Shandong Iron & Steel Group Board chairman Zou Zhongchen presented the company's developments in recent years, especially focusing on the restructuring of the steel industries in the province. He point out that Shandong Iron & Steel Group has basically completed integration of the internal capital market—its two major listed companies merged into one, with Jinan Iron and Steel remaining as the sole listing platform of iron and steel, and a name change pending. The group will further strengthen its efforts in internal integration, rearrangement of assets, businesses, staff and others, and will look for opportunities on the global platform, to promote overseas resources integration. He hopes Dacheng would provide them with timely and relevant information and high-quality legal services in their global resources integration.
