Dacheng Hosts Lecture on Considerations in the Formulation and Legislation of Tortious Liability Law

March 5, 2010, a lecture on the considerations in the formulation and legislation of the national Tortious Liability Law was held at Dacheng. The lecture was given by Yao Hong, a Tortious Liability Law Drafting Committee core member and the Chair of the Civil Law Office of the National People’s Congress Working Committee on Law. Dacheng Senior Partner and Intellectual Property Rights Department Chair Tong Jie hosted the event. Dacheng branch offices listened to the lecture using the Dacheng video conferencing system.
 
The lecture introduced the purpose, the thinking behind and the actual applications of writing the Tortious Liability Law, dissected its theoretic importance and necessity, and explained its realistic applications using case examples.
