Japanese law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune Visits Dacheng

On March 31st, 2010, represetnatives of the China Practice Group of the Japanese law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune visited Dacheng Law Offices. The head of the China Practice Group, Partner Akira Moriwaki and the Chief Representative of Beijing Office Hiroshige Nakagawa were received by Dacheng Managing Partner Wang Zhongde and Senior Partner Wang Hong.
 
Akira Moriwaki gave a description of Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, which is an international full service law firm with practices in corporate law, M&A, finance law, labor law, IP law, and handles cases related to international tax laws and China, among others. Anderson Mori & Tomotsune is headquartered in Tokyo, with a representative office in Beijing since 1998. Anderson Mori & Tomotsune is one of the largest law firms in Japan, with approximately 300 Japanese lawyers, over 10 lawyers qualified in foreign jurisdictions, approximately 130 other professional staff (including patent lawyers, translators and paralegals), and approximately 180 other general staff members.
 
Dacheng Managing Partner described the current status of the Dacheng global legal services network and expressed his willingness to establish stable collaborative relations with Anderson Mori & Tomotsune.
 
The two parties discussed business collaborations, setting up exchange lawyers, jointly setting up workshops and other matters in detail and formed a consensus.
