Dacheng Managing Partner Organized a Group to Participate in WSG Asia-Pacific Conference

On May 2 2010, Managing Partner Wang Zhongde organized a group to participate in the WSG Asia-Pacific Conference.
 
WSG Members from 18 countries and district attended the conference, including Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Columbia, India, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Indonesia, Peru, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, US, Venezuela, China, Hong Kong.
 
The conference had an in-depth discussion on the gain and loss of each country’s law firms towards international financial crisis, the expansion of law firms and the cooperation between members. Meanwhile, the chairman and vice-chairman of WSG introduced the latest WSG development area (highlight Dacheng’s participation) and the opportunities members faced.
 
At the meeting, Managing Partner Wang Zhongde made a speech on the effects and solutions of Dacheng under the international financial crisis, indicating that: This international financial crisis began in US and spread to globe, which also brought certain shock to China. In facing the crisis, Dacheng helped clients to strengthen the ability to against risks through setting up legal risk control and prevention system. Dacheng achieved success in dealing with financial crisis.
 
The measures of human resource management, innovation of organization structure, establishment of global legal service network have been developed in this crisis. In 2009, the revenue increased 28% and the number of lawyers increased several hundred with the total number over 1500.
 
Managing Partner Wang Zhongde indicated in the speech: each single law firm can hardly fulfill the global legal service requirement of clients no matter how large scale it has. Thus, it is the tendency to cooperate with the outstanding local firms. Dacheng global legal service network has set up over 60 domestic and overseas branches, among which 28 branches are in mainland china. WSG is a platform which consisted of outstanding law firms and intermediary institutes from various countries. The connection between Dacheng global network and WSF network would provide better and more comprehensive legal service to Dacheng’s clients. Dacheng is willing to actively participate in all the WSG activities and contribute to the development of WSG, and also expect to enjoy the outcomes of WSG.
