Dacheng Successfully Expands into China’s Nuclear Power Plant Construction and Operation Market

Recently, a Dacheng team made up of senior partner Xu Yongqian and Xiamen-based partner Ke Yongxiao successfully won the bid for acting as two-year outstanding legal counsel for Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Co.’s nuclear power project, after beating numerous renowned law firms. To date, a service contract has been signed and is being fulfilled.
 
Fujian Fuqing Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. was founded on May 16 2006 by China National Nuclear Corporation (“CNNC”), Huadian Fujian Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Fujian Investment & Development Group Co.,Ltd., with each holding 51%, 39% and 10% of stake respectively. Fuqing nuclear power project, which will set in place six 1,000,000-kw power generators, is the largest nuclear power project under construction.
 
The winning of the bid will lay a solid foundation for Dacheng in the promising market of nuclear power plant construction and operation.
