Dacheng Shanghai Office Succeeds in Bidding Outside Counsel of Shanghai Pudong Software Park Co.

Recently, a project team from Dacheng Shanghai office succeeded in the bid for outside counsel role of Shanghai Pudong Software Park Co., Ltd. after beating a few other law firms in a fierce battle. Attorneys in the team included Chen Feng, Wu Chenyao, Zhang Genwang, Chen Bojiang, Lu Xiaodong, Peng Wensheng, Shan Xunping, Wang Dong and Zheng Zhi.

Shanghai Pudong Software Park Co., Ltd. was founded in July 1992 by the former Ministry of Information and Industry and the municipal government of Shanghai. As national software industrial base and national software export base, the company is responsible for planning, operating and developing the software park which comprises Guo Shoujing Park, Pudong Sanlin and Kunshan Park. 

The park currently holds about 600 companies (over 100 of which are certified software companies and hi-tech companies), with more than 30,000 employees and a turnover of over RMB30bn.
