Former Prime Minister of Australia Met with Senior Partner Yongqian Xu

On 26 November, 2012, former Prime Minister of Australia Mr. John Winston Howard met with Senior Partner Yongqian Xu in China World Summit Wing to have an in-depth discussion over potential cooperation opportunities of Chinese and Australian companies in the sectors of energy, mineral resource and infrastructure. Mr. Howard also gave credit for Dacheng’s achievements in the firm’s development strategy and international legal service network construction in the past. It is expected that Chinese enterprises will implement a proactive “going global” strategy during the 12th Five Year Plan and Australia will be an important country receiving outbound investment from Chinese enterprises. Mr. Howard expressed his willingness to act as adviser and provide Dacheng’s clients with strategic advice and project opportunities. Consultant May Zheng and Calvin Chiu also attended the discussion.
