Dacheng Attorneys Advise Client on Setting up Three Investment Funds

In November 2012, Dacheng attorneys advised Beijing Zhengda United Investment Co., Ltd. (“Zhengda United”) in setting up three investment funds, namely,ZhengdaXinyi, ZhengdaYouyi and ZhengdaTaiyi. To date, the three funds have already been launched.

The Dacheng project team made up of senior partner Wang Jie, partner Yu Jianfeng and attorney Liu Qian, were tasked with fund structure design, legal documents drafting and review as well as internal management and decision-making mechanism design.

Zhengda United is an investment company with afocus onpre-IPO strategic investment and fund management. Since its founding in October 2009, Zhengda United has recorded a remarkable performance. Its self-owned capital has been diverted to six companies, two of which were successfully listed, namely, Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002483) and Bringspring Science & Technology Co., Ltd.(stock code: 300290).

Zhengda United is currently a council member of Shenzhen Private Equity Association and an executive council member of China Venture Capital Association. On August 3 2012, a project ofthe company won a gold award as Outstanding Venture Capital Project for 2012 at the 2nd China Venture Capital Industry Summit organized by National Development and Reform Commission, the highest honor in this category.
