Dacheng Attorney Selected as ALB 2013 China’s Top 10 Litigators

Asian Legal Business (ALB) recently released the list of “Top 10: China’s Best Litigators” for 2013, among which Dacheng senior partner Wu Feng was honored as one of them.
 
For the past few years, Attorney Wu Feng is devoted to product liability research and practice with a particular interest in the automobile sector. He has been constantly engaged as permanent legal advisor and attorney for world-famous automakers. By virtue of in-depth research and rich experience, he has developed unparalleled expertise in his practice area. Some of the important legal issues to which Attorney Wu has made original contributions include: the allocation of burden of proof in auto product liability disputes, law application, overlap of legal relations, application of the civil law theory of “one result with concurrent causes”, differentiation between auto product liability disputes and auto product sales contract disputes, determination of litigant eligibility and liability in auto product sales contract disputes. In addition, several cases handled by Attorney Wu that have produced positive legal and social impact are deemed representative cases and employed as precedents by local high courts of where the related accidents occurred. In July 2012, because of his solid, profound theoretical grounding and rich practical experience, Wu was elected as deputy director of the 9th Product Quality and Safety Law Committee of the Beijing Lawyers’ Association.
 
This year’s top 10 Chinese litigators are selected based on ALB research team’s comprehensive, unbiased and independent survey and appraisal on all nominees’ performances that outstood in 2012.
