On April 18 2013, the H-share Listing Business Development Forum hosted by Dacheng headquarters’ Capital Market Division was announced to open at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
Thanks to the concerted efforts of mainland and Hong Kong governments, recent years has witnessed the emergence of a series of favorable policies for mainland companies seeking a listing in Hong Kong. And the fact that there is too long a list of companies awaiting CSRC approval for A-share offerings propels some of the quality mainland enterprises to turn to Hong Kong for financing.

Guest speakers at the forum elaborated on the new environment and new development opportunities relating to H-share listing business in Hong Kong and explored new trends in Hong Kong and mainland economy. These speakers included: Fung Chi Kin, ex-Vice-chairman of SEHK; Zhong Chuangxin, Vice-director of SEHK Mainland Development Division; Lian Dapeng, ex-Senior Advisor of Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Limited (HKEx); Chen Yongren, Executive Manager of Investment Banking Department, China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC); Chang Xuan, Executive Director of Essence Corporate Finance (Hong Kong) Limited; Yang Rui, Managing Director of Investment Banking Department, China Galaxy International Financial Holdings Company Limited; Liang Baohua, Partner of Capital Market Department, PwC Hong Kong; Cui Ming, Partner of Lighthouse Capital Management Company Limited (Shanghai) and CEO of Shanghai Oriental Finance Consulting Company.
