Dacheng Lawyers Attends CPPCC Conference on Consultative Democracy and Delivers Keynote Speech

On June 26 2013, a CPPCC National Committee conference on building consultative democracy in CPPCC was held at the office of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. The conference was hosted by Vice-chairman Zhang Qingli of the CPPCC National Committee and attended by Chairman Ji Lin, Vice-chairman Shen Baochang and Vice-chairman Ma Dalong of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. Also present at the conference were: sub-committee directors of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, heads of the eight non-communist parties of Beijing, heads of Beijing Federation of Industry & Commerce, personages without party affiliations, chairmen of the CPPCC district and county committees and a few members of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. Dacheng Senior Partner Lu Hada attended the conference upon invitation and delivered a keynote speech titled “Institutionalization of Consultative Democracy is the Inevitable Path for China’s Democratic Political Reform”.
 
During this year’s two sessions of NPC and CPPCC, Lu re-presented his proposal to Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC on the institutionalization consultative democracy. He believed such an attempt would innovate on the CPPCC members’ mode of work and fully mobilize their enthusiasm in discussing political affairs. His proposal was highly recognized and attended to by authorities in charge.
