Dacheng and CNC hold Signing Ceremony for Strategic Cooperation

China Xinhua News Network Corporation (“CNC”), owned by Xinhua News Agency, is a TV news network targeted on overseas audience. The network boasts quite a number of channels promoted by TV stations wholly owned by or affiliated with Xinhua. CNC has been considered an important part of the central government’s move to strengthen China’s publicity capacity in the international arena. Currently, four channels have been launched, namely, CNC-Chinese, CNC-English, CNC World News-Chinese and CNC World News-English. In the future, CNC will launch news channels in more foreign languages, such as French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian. Meanwhile, there will also be programs dedicated specifically to the study of Confucianism and environmental issues. According to schedule, by the year 2014, CNC overseas news channels will be able to cover nearly 100 countries and regions and gradually be integrated into foreign TV networks. By the year 2020, CNC will have become an influential international TV news terminal around the world.
 
On August 6, 2013, Dacheng management committee chairman Wang Zhongde and senior partners Zhang Lei and Rong Wei attended the signing ceremony with CNC, who had selected Dacheng as its legal counsel.
 
The ceremony was hosted by Xi Jing, director of the office of CNC board. At the ceremony, CNC general manager Zhang Hao made a brief introduction to CNC’s founding history and its growth. Chairman Wang Zhongde likewise gave a summary account of the founding, growth and future development strategy of Dacheng. Attorney Zhang Lei voiced his opinion on CNC’s strategic cooperation with Dacheng, which was supplemented by Director Xu Jing.
 
With Wang Zhongde and Zhang Hao acting as witnesses, the two parties, represented by Zhang Lei and Xi Jing respectively, signed the legal service agreement.
