Dacheng Officially Launches its Moscow Office

On August 5, 2013, an office of Dacheng based in Moscow was officially launched. At 6 p.m. (local time) the reception started, Dacheng senior partner Xu Yongqian, who is also deputy director of the management committee, welcomed officials from the Chinese embassy and heads of Chinese enterprises operating in Russia on behalf of Dacheng management committee and in the name of head of the Moscow office and delivered a keynote speech on the development strategy of the newly established office. Representatives from the embassy and clients also made earnest congratulatory remarks at the reception. These speakers included: Yu Xin, First Secretary of Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office, Embassy of PRC in Russia; Gao Deshuang, general manager of Russia-based investment company affiliated with China National Petroleum Corporation; Chen Lin, deputy general manager of the Russian branch of Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation; Liu Wei, deputy director of the Russian branch of Bank of China; and Xu Dagong, deputy general manager of the Russian branch of China Construction Bank. Li Yulong, Dacheng senior partner and director of SOEs Division, extended his warm congratulations on behalf of the division. Senior partners Jin Zhong and Zhang Yongheng, together with over a dozen colleagues from the SOEs division also joined the reception.
 
The establishment of the Moscow office gained support from all sides. Great Khingan Forestry Group and Shandong Energy Group sent letters of congratulations in the name of their respective corporations while many people did the same in their own names, including principal leaders of State Forestry Bureau, director of the Supervisory Board of SOEs of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, chairmen of China National Coal Group and China Chengtong Group, overseas investment companies’ CEOs of China National Chemical Engineering Co. and Power Construction Corporation of China, senior management staff, vice presidents and general counsels alike, of Sinosteel, China Mobile, Sinochem, China National Gold Group, China Railway Engineering Co., Wuhan Iron & Steel Group, ENN Group, Cnooc, China General Technology Group, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group and Chint Group.
