Dacheng Attorneys Advise Shanghai Water7 Energy Technology Co on NEEQ Listing

On December 9 2013, Shanghai Water7 Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Water7 Energy”, Code No.:430355) was launched on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (“NEEQ”). Dacheng acted as legal counsel for the company. The task, comprising due diligence, corporate restructuring and listing, was undertaken jointly by Dacheng’s Shanghai-based senior partner Wu Chenyao, who is also director of the Shanghai office’s construction and real estate practice, senior partner Wang Enshun, partner Qiu Pei and attorney Zhang Xiaoying.
 
Having been engaged in the overall design, construction, management, equipment testing and maintenance of the ground-source heat pump (“GSHP”) system for a long time, Water7 Energy is devoted to turning itself into a system integrator in this field. With ample GSHP technologies, construction techniques and a number of technical patents, it can produce up to ten solutions for different types of architecture. Over 20 GSHP projects which have impacted the industry were undertaken by Water7 Energy, including China Dinosaurs Park, IKEA Shanghai, Shanghai Xinchong Hotel, Paques Environmental Technology (Shanghai) Co., projects at No.88, South Wanping Road of Shanghai and Hamburg Pavilion of Germany at the Shanghai Expo. The years of development has made Water7 Energy the most influential name in the GSHP industry in Shanghai and the broader East China region. It is also the only one GSHP system integrator taking part in the formulation of Shanghai’s GSHP technical manual and contributing significantly for the standardization of the industry.
