Dacheng Attorney Elected as President of Nantong Lawyers Association

On January 4-5, the 3rd Nantong Lawyers Congress was held at Wenfeng Hotel of Nantong, which was attended by 151 representatives from 85 local law firms, two corporate legal departments, city- and county-level judiciary and administrative organs to discuss development plans of the city’s legal profession. Xu Tonglu, vice president of the Justice Department of Jiangsu and party secretary of Jiangsu Lawyers Association was present at the congress, while Cao Bin, member of the CPC Standing Committee of Nantong and secretary of the Politics and Law Committee, delivered a speech at the congress.
 
The congress elected new leaders for the association. Gu Bin, attorney of Dacheng Nantong office, was chosen as president.
 
Besides, quite a few Dacheng attorneys were elected council members or supervisors of the association. Attorney Wang Nian was the new vice supervisor-in-chief, attorneys Ji Gang and Huang Bing the new council members and attorney Li Jingming supervisor.
 
The successful election of these people shows public trust and recognition of our attorneys. It also reflects our commitment to social responsibility and contribution to the profession the same time we practice law. Dacheng’s attorneys will live up to the trust and expectations and fulfill our mission and responsibilities satisfactorily to push forward the development of the legal profession.
