Dacheng Attorney Named One of the Top Ten Family Law Attorneys in Beijing

On November 28 2013, Beijing Lawyers Association announced its decision to select the first outstanding labor law and family law attorneys in Beijing, in an effort to set up examples in the capital city’s legal profession, make known the attorneys’ meritorious deeds and remarkable contributions and eventually inspire the development of the profession.
 
The selection, led by President Zhang Xuebing of the Association and based on such principles as equity, transparency and fairness, underwent four phases, including application, appraisal, public review and awarding.
 
Dacheng senior partner Wang Fang, who has a wealth of experience and has made remarkable achievements in the practice of family law, participated in the selection. In the beginning, she submitted application materials such as her resume, published papers and books, honors and awards to get the selection board familiarized with her. When being interviewed together with another 30 candidates by the board made up of the president of the Association, legal experts, veteran judges and scholars as well as people from the press, attorney Wang Fang cool-headedly answered all kinds of questions posed by the board and fully exhibited her superb expertise and professional manner. Finally, following a voting process of the board, she was elected into the top ten with the greatest number of votes.
 
On January 23 2014, all finalists were convened by the Association in a ceremony to receive their honors. Attorney Wang Fang was honored as one of “Beijing’s First Top Ten Family Law Attorneys” and was invited to share her experience on behalf of all other practitioners in this practice area. The honor she has got is not only an individual achievement, but also represents Dacheng’s competitive strength in the area of family law.
