Dacheng Shanghai Office Hosts INTA 2014 China Get-together

On February 28, the International Trademark Association (“INTA”), upon the invitation of attorney Shang Jiangang, had a get-together at Dacheng Shanghai office with representatives from renowned law firms, IP agencies and businesses such as Baker & McKenzie, Hogan Lovells, Watson & Band, Rouse (Shanghai) and Ferrante Intellectual Property. Mr. Shang hosted the event and Shanghai-based attorneys Yang Yuzhou and Wang Kuiyu attended the event on behalf of Dacheng.

Participants all agreed that INTA annual conferences provided an excellent opportunity of networking, self-promotion and business development for trademark professionals on a worldwide basis. Some of them were looking forward to a more important role of Dacheng at INTA 2014.

INTA is the world’s largest international trademark association of trademark owners and professionals. Presently, it has more than 8000 members from 190 countries.

INTA 2014 would be held on May 10-14 in Hong Kong. This year’s conference will concentrate on finding optimal solutions and strategies for trademark protection. Participates would be updated about different industries in different places and expand their clientele. Beijing-based attorney Dun Mingyue, Ningbo-based Chen Yaojun, Wuhan-based He Dan, Shanghai office’s Yu Li, Shang Jiangang, Yang Yuzhou, Wang Kuiyu and Mr. Shang’s team advisor Asen Velinov would be present at the international gala on behalf of Dacheng.

The get-together was well received by participants and the rising influence of China in the international trademark community was felt by them all.
