Africa’s Largest Law Firm ENS Gives Lecture on Investment in Africa at Dacheng

On April 2 2014, Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs (“ENS”), the largest law firm in Africa and Dacheng’s strategic partner, gave a lecture at Dacheng on investment opportunities and risks in South Africa and the African region as a whole.

Mr. Ernie Lai King, an executive at ENS, Mr. Otsile Matlou, director of the mining department and Kenny Chiu, general manager of business development in the China department at ENS were welcomed and received by Mr. Peng Xuefeng, chairman of Dacheng and senior partners Zhang Hong, Gao Meili and Han Guang.

The lecture attracted attorneys from various practice areas such as corporation, finance, capital markets, investment and M&A. They had in-depth exchanges with the guests.

Dacheng has maintained a long-term partnership with ENS since 2012. The two sides have advised a large number of Chinese enterprises investing in Africa.

The two sides expressed willingness to continue their cooperation to serve Chinese clients for their market expansion and investment projects in Africa.
