Dacheng Attorney Appointed Vice President of Shanghai Leasing Trade Association

Dacheng senior partner Kuang Shuangli’s rich experience and remarkable reputation in advising on financial leasing matters recently won him the role of vice president of Shanghai Leasing Trade Association.

Shanghai Leasing Trade Association (“SLTA”), founded in April 1999, is administered by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission. It currently has 125 members, the key members of which include: Puhang Leasing Co., Ltd., AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd., CMB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., Shanghai Fullway Leasing Co., Ltd. and International Far Eastern Leasing Co., Ltd.. Since its inception, SLTA has made remarkable contribution to the leasing industry and has become one of the most influential leasing trade associations in China.

On May 28, 2014, a salon event was held jointly by Shanghai Leasing Trade Association, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Financial Services Bureau of Pudong New Area, CIETAC-SH and Dacheng. The salon revolved around the subject of risk management and legal protection of the current financial leasing industry.

Kuang delivered a well-received lecture titled “Comprehensive Legal Risk Management for Financial Leasing Businesses”, in which new solutions to risk management was proposed.
