Mr. He Jianguo, founding partner of Beijing Dacheng Law Offices, died at 16:30 on November 11, 2014, aged 64, at Beijing Ditan Hospital.
He and Mr. Peng Xuefeng co-founded Dacheng Law Offices (“Dacheng”) in 1992, after resigning from a public institution. He had served as vice-chairman of the firm and deputy director of the firm’s management committee.
He was a selfless and diligent man. When the firm was first launched, he overcame all sorts of difficulties and dedicated all his enthusiasm and energy into everything that led to early-stage growth of the firm and laid a solid foundation for what Dacheng has achieved today and will achieve tomorrow. His contribution to the firm is of historic importance.
As the firm grew, He decided to step down from the central management team to create more opportunities for young colleagues. But still, he was no less mindful and supportive of the firm’s growth.
During the past twenty years and more, He had always dedicated himself to the firm, no matter what role he was charged with. He set an example of honesty, self-discipline, dedication, unity and hard work and did what he could to make Dacheng a full-service, top-ranking law firm in China distinguishing itself by its standardization, large scale, specialization, brand and internationalization.
He’s memorial service will be held at 10:30am on November 18, 2014 at the Chrysanthemum Hall, Beijing Babaoshan Funeral Home.
