Xi’an Development and Reform Commission Retains Dacheng’s Xi’an Office as Standing Legal Counsel

On January 5, 2015, attorneys from Dacheng’s Xi’an office were officially retained as standing legal counsel for Xi’an Development and Reform Commission. 

Xi’an Development and Reform Commission is mainly responsible for: mapping out and maneuver the implementation of strategies, mid- to long-term plans and annual plans; coordinating the growth of economy and the development of society, setting targets and policies relating to the municipal’s economic growth and optimization of key economic structure, and proposing suggestion on comprehensively applying various economic means and policies; submitting to the municipal people’s congress reports on economic growth and society development at the commission of the municipal government of Xi’an; implementing strategies, plans and policies made at the national, provincial and municipal level regarding China’s western development drive, and proposing strategy outline and development plan for the western development drive and coordinating relevant, important matters. 

After it was retained, the Xi’an office formed a team of attorneys with Wang Jie acting as the attorney in charge and Zhao Wenbin as the coordinator. The team also included Beijing-based Liu Qian, Zhao Xiaochen, Mi Yuan and Xi’an-based Liu Xiaoyan, Wen Junping, Liang Hongcang, Zhang Jiayue, Zhang Yi and Zhao Ning. 

Acting as standing legal counsel for Xi’an Development and Reform Commission would bring new perspectives to the office in terms of serving clients and help promote the brand of Dacheng.
