Dentons Retained as Standing Legal Counsel of China Appraisal Society

With the signing of a service agreement, a team led by Beijing-based senior partner Zhang Dong was retained by China Appraisal Society as its standing legal counsel.

China Appraisal Society, founded in December 1993, is a national self-regulatory organization in the asset appraisal industry. It is guided and supervised by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

The objectives of China Appraisal Society are as follows: strengthen self-regulation and guide and supervise members’ behavior; protect members’ legal rights and interests and public interests and serve the members, the public, and the market economy; help members improve professional skills and work ethics and improve the industry’s social credibility; coordinate internal and external relations of the industry, elevate its influence at home and abroad, and comprehensively push forward the sound and sustainable growth of the industry.
