At the invitation of the Ministry of Land and Resources, Yang Guisheng, a senior partner from Dentons Beijing office, gave a lecture to 188 trainees engaged in the “Establish Rule of Law in the Use of Land and Resources Initiative” on September 8, 2017. Mr. Yang, by studying the latest administrative litigation cases of the Ministry and interactions with audiences, analyzed legal environment and risks in enforcing administrative laws related to land and resources. His training was warmly received as trainees tried to seize every opportunity to talk to Mr. Yang about the challenges they have encountered in their work.

The training is an important initiative designed to establish rule of law in the field of land and resources, and has run for three years in a row. The trainees for this year come from the provincial, city- or county-level Land and Resources Department in 27 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, more than half of whom are incumbent administrators or leaders in law enforcement.
