Business Highlights -- 2018 Dentons China Bankruptcy Forum took place in Dentons Beijing office on 26 and 27 May 2018.

The forum is sponsored by Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Liquidation group of Dentons Beijing office, and supported by Dentons Shijiazhuang, Shanghai and Nanjing office. Celebrated bankruptcy experts and scholars are amongst those who attended the event,  together with more 200 colleagues across 25 offices in China Region, including Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Harbin, Hefei, Jilin, Ji’nan, Kunming, Nanchang, Nanning, Inner Mongolia, Xiamen, Shanghai, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Suzhou, Taiyuan, Tianjin, Wenzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Yinchuan, Changsha, and Zhuhai.

The forum is moderated by Gao Meili, leader of Dentons China’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Liquidation group, and senior partner Yin Xiuchao, both from our Beijing office.

Qi Ming, professor and and Ph.D supervisor of Jilin University and chair of Research Institute of Bankruptcy Law in Jilin Province; Zuo Beiping, partner of Reanda CPAs, project leader of studies of bankruptcy administrator at The Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and researcher for Bankruptcy Law and Corporate Restructuring Research Centre of China University of Political Science and Law; Gao Wenzhong, vice-president of China Enterprise Appraisals (CEA); Zhang Weijun, general manager of CEA’s Shanghai Branch; as well as Wang Xingxin, professor of Renmin University, director general of Bankruptcy Law Research Centre, and chair of Beijing municipal Association of Bankruptcy Law Studies shared their thoughts on the role of bankruptcy administrator, bankruptcy audit and appraisal, and Minutes of the National Court Bankruptcy Trials Conference.
