Dentons Lawyer won the "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award"

On January 6th, 2019, the 12th "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation and Innovation Conference" was held in Beijing. With the theme of “strengthening the deep integration of industry, university and research, and promoting the innovative development of private economy”, the conference brought together more than 1,300 representatives from the national industry, academia and research circles, and summarized the collaborative innovation experience that encourages the industry as a whole and academia to carry out research, with the results shared and popularized by the government, and leveraged by the businesses and media”. It also commended organizations and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to industry-university-research cooperation and specialization in 2018, enabling private enterprises to play a role in technological innovation, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and encouraging greater contributions to building an innovative country.

The China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Award is the highest honor for collaborative innovation of industry-university-research cooperation in China. The selection process includes four stages: declaration, evaluation, publicity and final review. It aims to encourage and commend the organizations and individuals that have made outstanding contributions in promoting cooperation between industry, university and research institutes. In August 2018, with the recommendation of China Mining Resources and Materials Innovation Alliance, Liang Lanzhi, a senior partner of Dentons China’s Mining Energy pratice, participated in the selection of “China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award”. After stages such as data review, summary statement, and question and answer, Ms. Liang Lanzhi was unanimously recognized by the academician expert panel and finally won the “2018 China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award”.
