Dentons’ Real Estate team advised CPI Property Group (CPI), the largest commercial property owner in the Czech Republic, Berlin and the CEE region, on the acquisition of a 50.3% share in the ownership of Chałubińskiego 8 office building in Warsaw. The divestment was made by First Property Group, an investment company and the manager of real estate funds operating in Great Britain and Central Europe.
This acquisition is the eighth office property transaction closed to date by CPI as part of the company’s plan to expand on the Warsaw office property market, announced in October 2019. Following the acquisition of the share in Chałubińskiego 8 office building, CPI’s property portfolio in Warsaw totals 305,500 sq. m. of office space.
Chałubińskiego 8 office building (also known as Ch8, Intraco II and Oxford Tower) is a major landmark in downtown Warsaw. The building, one of the first high-rise ones in the city, offers a total of 46,000 sq. m. of office space situated on 47 floors.
