Posting Date: 2020.07.03

Dentons is pleased to announce that two of its leading IP&T lawyers have been ranked in the Top 250 Women in IP in the 2020 edition of IP STARS Alison Bryce (United Kingdom: Scotland), who is also ranked Trade mark star 2020 and Transactions star 2020, and Catherine Lee (Singapore), who is also ranked Trade mark star 2020. Alison Bryce and Catherine Lee have been selected from the general IP STARS list and recognised as Senior Female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.

The global top 250 list is formed from research conducted by Managing Intellectual Property. Each year, their research analysts obtain information from thousands of firms, IP practitioners and their clients through interviews, email and online surveys. Their researchers also conduct independent research, which includes an analysis of publicly available information (such as court or IP office data) and existing data they hold on firms.

Alison is a Partner and head of Dentons' Intellectual Property Department in Scotland. Alison has been practising exclusively in intellectual property law and information technology law for 20 years and advises clients across the UK and internationally on all non-contentious intellectual property matters. Ranked as a leading individual in Chambers, Alison specializes in providing strategic, commercial advice on intellectual property and information technology matters to clients in a range of sectors including food and drink, life sciences, retail and banking.

Catherine is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice. She advises a wide range of clients on the management of their trade mark portfolio around the world as well as on the commercial exploitation of their intellectual property rights. She also deals with the enforcement of intellectual property rights, and has acted and advised on a spectrum of intellectual property related disputes such as trade mark infringement and cancellation actions, trade mark oppositions and breach of other intellectual property rights such as copyright and trade secrets.
