Alex has been qualified as a PRC lawyer since 2006 and has engaged in the practice of PRC laws for nearly twenty consecutive years. Over the course of his decades-long career, Alex has received wide-ranging recognition for representing both domestic and international leading market players. He has been actively involved in addressing regulatory and commercial matters across a diverse range of industries. In 2024, Alex joined Dacheng Law Offices (Denton‘s preferred law firm in China). Prior to this, he worked at several other well-reputed law firms in Shanghai. Alex initiated his legal career at Zhonglun Law Firm (Shanghai), where he advanced from a legal assistant to a senior associate between 2006 and 2011. While at Zhonglun, Alex was mainly engaged in high-profile real estate transactional projects, including office buildings, shopping malls, residential developments, and logistics warehouses. He served clients such as Morgan Stanley, ING, Credit Suisse, BlackRock, Prologis, and Goodman, among others. Following his tenure at Zhonglun Law Firm, in 2011 he joined TransAsia Lawyers, a specialized international law firm. There, he concentrated his practice on foreign direct investment (FDI), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and private equity, representing clients such as FIAT Industry, Disney, II-IV Industry, Amazon, etc. In 2014, Alex joined Grandall Law Firm (Shanghai) as equity partner. Having worked at Grandall for ten years, he has concentrated his legal practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and the capital market. Notably, over the recent years, Alex has committed substantial time and effort to the renewable energy, biotech, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence sectors. His clientele includes Softbank, SIG, Legend Capital, DWS, Brookfield, BioNTech, BioMerieux, Prologis, GCL and etc.
