Binghwa Lee is a senior partner and the head of cross-border trade and investment team. <br>She has nearly 30 years of experience in the areas of Corporate Law, Real Estate & Construction and Dispute Resolution. <br>She obtained a LL.M master degree from Loyola University Chicago and holds a license to practice as attorney and counsel in the state of Ilinois,USA. <br>During her professional career, Binghwa helped many clients from different countries to solve their personal or commercial legal issues by negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and litigations. For instance, she assisted a real estate client bypass the re-transfer restrictions of the "Contract for Granting Land Use Rights" and completed the land asset transaction by doing company division and share transfer in a M&A project. In factory building lease practice, she helped a European client save additional more than ¥ 10 million in rent by negotiating both commercial and legal terms on behalf of the client with the landlord by doing market survey and ROI analysis. In debt recovery area, she helped a Japanese client to avoid a financial loss of ¥ 150 million investment in a JV project through a series measures including but not limited to property preservation and intense negotiations.<br>Currently, Binghua is actively serving as arbitrator at Dalian International Arbitration Court, deputy director at the Foreign-related Professional Committee of Dalian Lawyers Association, legal Counsel at Dalian Xigang District Government, practice instructor at Dalian Ocean University, council member at Liaoning Financial Law Society.
