His roles have included counsel, case coordinator, and China law expert witness. A focal point of Jason's dispute resolution practice is international construction disputes. He specializes in assisting prominent Chinese contractors in dispute avoidance and resolution for international construction projects. These projects encompass a wide range of sectors, including renewables, transport, sewage, and other critical infrastructure developments.  Jason provides strategic counsel to international and domestic clients on cross-border investments and mergers and acquisitions. Represented a Chinese construction company in a SIAC-administered arbitration involving disputes arising from an EPC contract for a wind farm project in Vietnam;

Negotiated and resolved cost and time extension claims with the employer on behalf of a Chinese construction company in connection with a road construction contract in Georgia;

Served as the coordinating counsel for a leading Chengdu trading company, collaborating with U.S. local counsel on multiple litigations and arbitrations in New York and California stemming from the termination of a garment brand license agreement;

Acted on behalf of the de facto beneficiary of a Hong Kong-listed company in a Hong Kong High Court lawsuit arising from a dispute over control of an SPV registered in Seychelles, which held a majority of shares in the listed company;

Represented a Chengdu-based real estate company in a CIETAC arbitration against a Hong Kong-based hotel management company, addressing disputes arising from the termination of a technical service agreement and hotel management agreement;

Acted for a U.S. multinational company in a CIETAC arbitration against a local Chinese company, concerning disputes stemming from the performance of a distribution agreement;

Acted for a Chinese company in a trade dispute lawsuit in a Spanish court against a local Spanish company;

Represented a Singapore company in multiple lawsuits in China involving both the client and its China subsidiary, while coordinating with counsels in Hong Kong and Singapore on local legal proceedings;
