Admitted to the Chinese Bar in 1996, Richard Xu is a Senior Partner at Beijing Dacheng Law Offices, LLP (Ningbo), with over 29 years of distinguished legal expertise. His academic credentials include a bachelor degree from East China University of Political Science and Law (1991–1995), a Juris Master from Zhejiang University (2003–2005), and a visiting scholar tenure at the SOAS, University of London (2000–2001).

Richard began his career at Zhejiang Harnest & Garner Law Firm in 1995, becoming a partner in 2001. He co-founded Zhejiang Flower&May Law Firm in 2003 and later joined Dacheng in 2012, where he leads high-stakes matters in International Trade & Investment, Intellectual Property, and Commercial Litigation.
