Mr. Shan Wenfeng is a senior partner of Beijing Dacheng Law Offices, LLP, a licensed patent attorney, and a qualified fund and futures practitioner. He is currently a member of Dacheng China Specialization Committee and a director of the Intellectual Property Council, and holds the following social positions: expert of the Technical Expert Pool of China (Nanjing) Intellectual Property Protection Center, extra-institutional expert of Yancheng City People’s Procuratorate of Jiangsu Province, extra-institutional postgraduate tutor of the Intellectual Property School of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and independent director of a listed company.

Mr. Shan graduated from Nanjing University of Chemical Technology, majoring in fine chemical industry, and successively obtained a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in law from Nanjing University and Nanjing Tech University, and has more than 10 years of experience as an attorney specializing in intellectual property rights and obtained the qualification of patent agent in 2011. Mr. Shan has handled many influential intellectual property cases of patent, trademark and trade secret for Jiangsu Yanghe Winery Company Limited, Suning Yunshang Company Limited, Vanke Enterprises Company Limited, Junma Steel Cord Company Limited, Nanjing Hongshi Daily Chemical Company Limited, Nanjing Jiuzhu Science and Technology Industry Company Limited, etc., and all of them have achieved good results. Ltd. And Wang Mou infringement of utility model patent dispute case was named 2013 Jiangsu Province Higher People’s Court Gazette reference case, the agent of Zhangjiagang City Junma steel cord Co. Ltd. And Bekaert Company were selected as “Typical Cases of Intellectual Property Rights of Scientific and Technological Enterprises” by Nanjing Lawyers Association in 2018, and the case of Nanjing Future Hi-Tech Co. v. Jiangsu Cloud Dragon Information Technology Co.

Mr. Shan is proficient in contract law and company law, and has served as the permanent legal advisor or special legal advisor of intellectual property rights for more than ten enterprises, institutions and governmental authorities, such as Jiangsu Junma Group (15 subsidiaries), Nanjing Deyang Engineering Supervision and Consulting Company Limited (Class A Qualification), Jiangsu Ninghang Expressway Company Limited, etc., and also served as an independent director of Singapore-listed company, Jumbo Chemical Fibers Limited.

Mr. Shan also devotes himself to the research in the field of intellectual property, and has authored “Case Record of Intellectual Property Cases – The Whole Guide of Five Cases” (Intellectual Property Publishing House, 1st edition, January 2018) which has been collected by dozens of famous libraries in China including the National Library and Tsinghua University Library, and has authored many papers such as “The Copyright Context Analysis of the Right of Recovery in the Context of Copyright” and many other papers.
