Ms Song Yao  served as a middle-level leader and a fourth-level senior judge of a local court , as well as engaged in intellectual property adjudication in the Intellectual Property  Division of a  High  Court. She was also a part-time teacher of the National Judges College（NJC）, hostess of the program "Inside and Outside the Court" of a localTV station in Beijing, and was selected as the talent among the TEN&HUNDRED&THOUSAND talents program of Political and Legal Committee of BeijingCPC Municipal. The cases that she has undertaken have been selected as typical cases of the Supreme People's Court and excellent cases on judicial protection of intellectual property in Beijing.She has published more than 100 articles in print media such as People's Daily and Legal Daily. As the first author, she completed many projects of trial theory and participated in the drafting of  the Guiding Opinions of a Highe Court  ; She translated parts of the Copyright Law of the Russian Intellectual Property Code (English version); she also published more than 20 research papers in journals such as Intellectual Property Research, Invention and Patent, and People's Court Report.
